Meet the photographer

My name is Scott and I have lived in South Haven for the last 14 years. I currently use photography as my creative outlet while also being the best Dad that I can be. I started my photography journey long ago, but decided to go professional in 2019 when some of my friends told me I need to sell my photos online. I chose to open an Etsy shop to sell photo prints of the local area.

Since then I have started doing family sessions, engagements, elopements, real estate, and various other contract work including a partnership with the South Haven Visitors Bureau. I believe Michigan can be one of the most beautiful places in the world and love spending time outdoors doing just about anything. The things I love most about my photography business is the ability to connect with people, capture memories, and show the beauty of the perfect sunset.

Some of my interests and passions that have influenced what I try to capture include a fascination with outer space, planetary events, and astronomical oddities/events. Since I started my photography Journey I have captured the Comet NEOWISE in 2020, many lunar eclipse events, deep sky astrophotography of nebulae and other stellar structures, A solar eclipse, and numerous Aurora Borealis events that have reached all the way down to Southwest Michigan.
